In her role as the Economic Development Manager for the Town of Hanover, April Marshall is a connector that supports collaboration, growth and development, retention, attraction, and creativity. Living in the rural landscape, raising her family, and working in municipal economic development for 13 years, April holds a Certificate in Economic Development for completing the prescribed program of studies offered through the University of Waterloo and the Economic Development Association of Canada. April serves on the Launch Pad Skills Training & Technology Centre board of directors and has had the opportunity to work with many businesses, non-business groups and organizations to deliver product development, innovative strategic plans, projects, programs, and initiatives during her career.

Paul Kofi Merose Sitsofe is a dedicated professional with a rich and diverse background in social and community services, academic education, and hands-on experience. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Rural Planning and Development at the University of Guelph, where he works as a graduate research assistant. His research focuses on rural demographic shifts, innovative workforce development strategies to combat rural labor shortages, Knowledge Translation and Transfer (KTT) through community engagement, and Braiding Food Systems.
Previously, Paul served as a Principal Community Development Officer in Accra, Ghana, where he led various community development programs. His expertise encompasses community economic development planning, child protection, and community mobilization and facilitation.
Paul holds a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Public Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Music from the University of Ghana. His educational journey is further enriched by numerous certifications and volunteer experiences.
With a strong commitment to community development, leadership, and proactive engagement in addressing societal challenges, Paul is an asset in fostering positive change within diverse communities.
