P2P Session: Pitch It/Try It – Mainstreet Revitizliaztion in Huron County

Belinda is the Director of Economic and Community Development at the Town of Minto where she has worked in the field for 19 years. She is a Certified Economic Developer with the Economic Developers Association of Canada and the International Economic Developers Council, as well as holding an Honours Bachelor of Tourism Studies and a Certificate in Downtown Revitalization. In her role, she has been actively involved in all areas of economic development including investment attraction, business retention and expansion, small business development, workforce development, tourism, culture, and downtown revitalization. In 2017, she was honoured with the prestigious Joseph Montgomery Economic Development Achievement Award and has led the Town of Minto to receive numerous other awards.

Belinda is known for her collaborative and innovative approach to economic development and is the current President of the Economic Developers’ Council of Ontario.
